Andrea Magnani is a visual artist and designer who operates with installation, video, music and performance, condensing them into different research strands. The processes of meaning-making are revealed through the use of imaginative yet usable objects, which trigger dense and layered stories. In his works, the artist experiments there rituals and symbols belonging to a new and uncanny form of witchcraft, between technique and mysticism. Andrea has participated in group shows held both in public institutions and private spaces among which Marsèlleria permanent exhibition, Milan; MAMbo – Museo d'Arte Moderna, Bologna; Archivio di Stato, Turin; Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Venice; Viafarini, Milan; T293 Gallery, Rome; and Stanford Housing, London. In 2014 he founded Siliqoon, a hybrid label devoted to artistic production and promotion.
